thank you—it was the best decision for him (he was in the midst of kidney failure and we have no idea; even the vet was surprised), and I know that since it was so quick he didn’t suffer long or as much as if it’d been more drawn out, but he just turned 10 this past summer and I got him when he was a teeny kitten, so it’s still rough. All I can hope is that I gave him the best 10 years that I could.
