If Katara could heal her own hands, without leaving any scarring, after Aang burned her when she was figured out that she could heal, then why is Zuko’s scar in the middle of his chest so prominent still? Shouldn’t it at least be faded or smaller since she’s a master at that point?

I
think it’s logical for Zuko to carry a scar even after Kata healed him because,
well, HE WAS FUCKING BURNT BY FUCKING LIGHTING CURSING THROGH HIS ENTIRE
RIDICOULUSLY GORGEOUS BODY!

I mean, lighting is fire in its purest of forms and
thus the most powerful form of all.

Katara’s burn was very minor in comparison. Also, I
think we’re talking about healing more than just burnt skin here. Lighting is
like an explosive, I’m pretty sure Katara did some of the most complex, intense
healing and regeneration of cells, tissues, and fuck, even organ healing ever
done.

I’m sorry about all the profanity, but to me Katara healing Zuko was one
of the greatest, most awe-inspiring moments in the history of ATLA. I just
don’t think we really stop and think about how amazingly talented of a healer
Katara truly is. Kata saving Zuko’s life is a fucking HUGE DEAL, And I think
you not only have to be one heck of a healer, but that you also must love
someone very, very deeply to accomplish that kind of healing.

But idk, maube I’m just bias af
